CO2 Control®Wellness and Performance Technologies Smart Elastanes Certifications

CO2 Control® Concept

The fabrics in the CO2 Control ® line are the result of Santaconstancia ® 's constant quest to develop textile production that is more friendly to the human body and the environment.

They are fabrics developed from raw materials that cause less impact on the environment, whether in their production or disposal, such as: polyamide from a renewable source, biodegradable polyamide (which decomposes in landfills, under anaerobic conditions) , fibers grown in managed forests, non-use of toxic or harmful products to human health and production traceability. In addition, products with the CO2 Control ® label use reuse water in the dyeing and printing processes, thus ensuring the responsible use of water throughout its production line.

Certified and internationally recognized by a serious and renowned audit, the fabrics of the CO2 Control ® line receive the Oeko-Tex® Class I seal, which certifies that our articles are free of products toxic to human skin.

Biodegradable Polyamide 6.6

Santaconstancia®, committed to the technological and sustainable development of its fabrics, was the first Brazilian textile company to use biodegradable polyamide 6.6, produced by its partner both in business and in terms of socio-environmental responsibility, Rhodia Solvay®.

This yarn has been improved to allow for accelerated biodegradation, in about three years, in fabrics and clothes, after being correctly disposed of in landfills (in an anaerobic environment). Decomposition that previously took decades now takes approximately three years.

An innovative technology developed to serve the most diverse segments, such as fashion, sports, beach, lingerie and uniforms, in the most varied weights and fabric constructions.

Renewable source technologies

Finding sustainable solutions for collective well-being and the planet is an ongoing challenge.

Santaconstancia® once again takes a step forward, incorporating fabrics developed using raw materials from renewable sources (sugar cane, beet, corn, beech, eucalyptus, among others) into its CO2 Control® family.

The launches BioNyl Light Lycra® EcoMade and BioNyl Flux®, produced with polyamide 5.6 from a renewable source, known as the polyamide of the future, offer much more thermal comfort, breathability, quick drying, soft touch and easy care.

We also have other fibers that come from and return to nature in complete safety, being compostable (domestic and industrial) and biodegradable, in soil and marine water. Among them, we highlight the TENCEL™ Modal, TENCEL™ Micromodal and TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers, produced using TENCEL™ technology, from certified wood and offering maximum softness, natural touch and breathability.

i-Red®

Technology that converts heat into well-being

The meshes of the i-Red® family are developed with intelligent Emana® polyamide 6.6 yarn, composed of bioactive minerals in its DNA with long-infrared (IRL) technology, the result of the union between science and innovation that permanently promotes well-being -be.

Its innovative formula allows clothes produced from it to use body heat to promote benefits. Due to the minerals inserted into the thread, which converts body heat into long infrared rays that are returned to the body, stimulating blood microcirculation and thus resulting in several benefits.

The promoted benefits range from the reduction of signs of cellulite, increased skin elasticity and firmness, as well as reduced fatigue and rapid muscle recovery, increased sports performance, providing maximum comfort and well-being.

UPF 80 e 60 Stretch + Wet®

Solar Protection certification in extreme conditions

First and only Brazilian knitwear to have a line of knits with Stretch + WET® Certification.

This protocol measures the UV Protection in the fabrics under rigorous conditions of use (stretched and wet) certifying the fabrics: Light-(CO2) ®, Trip-(CO2) ®, Fax®, Flux Virus Bac OFF and Light®.

Antiviral Tissues

Technology that Inactivates the Virus

Santaconstancia's concern for people's health goes beyond well-being. In this way, we have incorporated into our portfolio meshes made with antiviral Polyamide 6.6 by Rhodia Solvay®. A 100% Brazilian development, whose technology, in addition to helping with health care, maintains its efficiency throughout the useful life of the fabrics, as the antiviral agent is applied from the DNA of the thread.

In addition to inactivating viruses present on the surface of fabrics and respecting the environment, antiviral Polyamide 6.6 also provides thermal comfort, soft touch, prevents bad odor, offers UV protection and is easy care (no need to iron).

Outlast® technology

Thermoregulatory technology

Developed by NASA, Outlast® intelligent technology consists of materials with phase-changing properties, that is, they absorb, store and release heat to provide optimal thermal comfort, cooling or heating according to need.

Santaconstancia® is licensed in functional fabrics with Outlast ^® in Brazil, and pioneer in the development of an exclusive technology for Outlast ^® Thermocules ^® application in several fabrics of our collection.

Supplex®

Comfort and softness technology

Pioneer in the launch of Supplex® technology, Santaconstancia® has a family of fabrics recognized for shaping the body and which combine the attractive touch and comfort of cotton, with the benefits of durability and quick drying of a synthetic fiber.

Combinations of technologies that offer other functionality.

Meshes that contain elastane in their composition offer more comfort and other functionalities. The new generation of intelligent elastanes includes the following technologies: recycled, resistance to chlorine, adaptability to different body types, “true black” effect, among others.

Recycled Elastane

Recycled material from the pre-consumer production process and with GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification, LYCRA® EcoMade offers the same performance as conventional LYCRA®, but with more sustainability.

Developed using technologies that add value and contribute to the reduction and more conscious use of natural resources, providing better environmental performance and minimizing waste. LYCRA® EcoMade could not be left out of Santaconstancia's product line.

Elastane with Adaptability

Adaptability is the great competitive advantage that technology adds to this product. Made from an innovative elastane, this yarn proactively adapts to the user's functional needs, providing freedom of movement.

Chlorine Resistance Elastane (CL+ ^® )

The garments produced with CL+ ^® technology offer greater resistance to loss of elasticity and fiber breakage caused by external agents such as: chlorine, heat, sweat, use of creams, tanning lotions, sunscreens and products used in the washing process, maintaining your shape and style for much longer.

All water used in our production process comes from reused water in a closed cycle, a partnership with the Basic Sanitation Company of the State of São Paulo – SABESP.

Stretch + Wet®

In addition to the concern with Sustainability, Santaconstancia is the first Brazilian knitwear to certify its fabrics through the Stretch + WET® protocol, which offers strict safety standards for UV Protection, certifying its knits in extreme conditions of use, that is, in the situation stretched and wet.
